Bankole JAMES Alonge, partner

Bankole J. Alonge is a seasoned legal and business management professional, called to the Nigerian Bar in 2008. His distinguished career began with a distinguished law firm in Nigeria, a prominent corporate commercial and energy consulting firm, where he developed deep expertise in transactional management, energy law, credit and corporate commercial practice, and project finance. He has represented clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, including appearances before the National Industrial Court.
 
His multidisciplinary legal acumen is strengthened by a keen understanding of product development and strategic business management, enabling him to effectively bridge legal frameworks with commercial objectives. He has advised a diverse clientele on regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, risk management, and corporate governance.
 
Product strategy and Innovation:
Bankole’s leadership in innovation and product strategy is reflected in his work with startups and established institutions, guiding them through market entry, regulatory compliance, and operational restructuring. His unique ability to align legal risk with business growth has earned him appointments to multiple boards as a non-executive and independent director.
 
He is the author of “Taxation of E-Commerce in Nigeria” (2006), a forward-thinking publication exploring legal intersections between technology, commerce, and fiscal policy.

Edward Isuama is a qualified Nigerian lawyer specializing in corporate/commercial law  practice, litigation, dispute resolution, and insolvency practice.
